Granite State Team Excellence Awards

Does your Organization have  a High Performance Team that deserves recognition?

Would your Organization like feedback on its team processes and projects based on the best in the world?

Would you like to learn how to develop and support High Performance Teams?

Participant in the Granite State Team Excellence Award Process as an Applicant or a Judge!

The most successful companies, public sector agencies, and health care and education organizations have discovered how they can improve results through the formation and recognition of teams.  Private and public sector organizations are relaizing just how important work teams can be in terms of reducing costs, saving money, fostering innovation, and boosting bottom-line results.

The Granite State Team Excellence Awards program (GSTEA) is being established for the purpose of encouraging the formation of work teams, fostering their ability to perform systematic continuous process improvement, and formally recognizing organizations for their teams’ accomplishments.

This assessment process provides an opportunity to compare your team’s efforts toward project and process improvement with the best… and get the recognition you deserve! This assessment process also provides an opportunity for individuals to enhance, and be recognized for their ability to guide process teams by participating as Program Judges.

Key Dates:

  • Judges Training: Tuesday, December 13, 2011
  • Team Application Deadline: December 31, 2011

The GSTEA is based on the American Society for Quality’s (ASQ) International Team Excellence Award (ITEA) and uses the same criteria.  See the attachments for more details on the process and how to apply.

Whether your organization is using a Baldrige-based approach or not, creating an Organizational Profile can target and align improvements. This presentation will provide practical insight, tips, and options, as well as a case study.  You will learn how to use this Baldrige-based tool to support your organization's unique needs and support achievement of strategic and operational goals.
